Territory Sales Manager - Chicago

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Successfully attains territorial sales growth and profitability objectives
  • Develops and nurtures relationships with surgeons, and hospital personnel (including OR, administrative, and biomedical engineering)
  • Provides up-to-date clinical information and sales collateral to customers. Provides technical and clinical information and product demonstrations to customers
  • Facilitates the evaluation and installation of Medistim devices in hospitals
  • Trains customers on the safe and efficacious use of Medistim products for graft patency assessment and general procedural quality control, provides on-site in-services to customers and institutions
  • Consults with surgeons during the surgical application of Medistim products.
  • Deliver educational sessions to clinical staff on the use of the Medistim device
  • Provides on-call technical and clinical support as needed

  • Travel up to 90%

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

VENDORCREDENTIALING 

Ability to get credentialed through the industry vendor credentialing organizations

 

TRANSPORTATION 

Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to operate a motor vehicle.

 

LANGUAGE ABILITY

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

 

MATHEMATICAL ABILITY

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio,and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

 

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concretevariables.

 

COMPUTER SKILLS

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Able to adapt to and engage with unfamiliar computer programs regularly
