Medistim TTFM Probes
Together with Medistim's systems, the QuickFit™ and Vascular TTFM probes offer fast, accurate and reproducible measurements.
With transit time flow measurement (TTFM), ultrasound is used to measure blood flow volume directly. TTFM is based on the fact that the time required for ultrasound to travel through moving blood is slightly longer upstream (tu) than downstream (td). Using the wide beam ultrasound principle, flow volume can be measured regardless of the flow velocity, as long as the whole cross-section of the vessel remains inside the measurement area of the probe.
QuickFit™ TTFM Probes
– PS Probe series
The QuickFit™ design securely holds the vessel and ensures precise measurements on all types of vessel grafts.
Vascular TTFM Probes
– PV Probe Series
The Vascular probe features a locking slide mechanism designed to secure the vessel while minimizing the manipulation of fragile or calcified vessels.
